What is the East Alabama Humane Society?
The world is filled with dogs in need of a fur-ever home. That’s where the East Alabama Humane Society comes in to help. Though they focus on taking in dogs in Russell County and finding families for them, they also operate a feral cat rescue.

How can I help out the East Alabama Humane Society?
One of the best ways you can help out the East Alabama Humane Society is by adopting! After all, when you adopt a dog, you’re making room for another pup to have a chance at a better life. That’s why many people say it’s important to “adopt, not shop!”
It’s also not the only way you can contribute to the East Alabama Humane Society! They love having volunteers. Those aged 16 and older are welcome to volunteer on their own, and those aged 15 or younger can volunteer with a parent or guardian present.
You can also donate money or supplies too. Every donation of $20 or more means you’ll get a free 2020 calendar. Plus, to see all the supplies they require, visit their website here.
