In two weeks, Gala in the Garden at Columbus Botanical Garden will give guests a night to remember! From special guests to guest chefs—plus live music—it’s a benefit that will make your garden-love grow fonder.
Gala in the Garden
Described as a “refreshed” version, this year’s Gala in the Garden at Columbus Botanical Garden will be on Thursday, September 15th, at 7 p.m.
Enjoy a “Taste of the Columbus Botanical Garden” for an evening benefiting not just the botanical gardens but the community gardens as well. The community gardens currently grow fresh fruits and vegetables, which are then donated to those in need as part of their initiative #NourishColumbus.
Thursday night festivities include a garden-to-table meal prepared by local restaurant, The Animal Farm Columbus.
Be entertained by live music plus the inspirational presentation by well-known horticulturist and author, Brie Arthur. She will share insights from her book, The Foodscape Revolution, and more.
Garden Luncheon
Beyond the Gala in the Garden on Thursday is the Garden Luncheon of Friday, September 16th, at 11 a.m. There will be Southern fare prepared by chef and media personality, Jonathan Harrison. Harrison was recently seen on Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef on Fox.
He is also known for his ability to take traditional Southern comfort foods and pair them with worldwide flavors for unique dishes that are to die for!

Both Gala in the Garden at Columbus Botanical Garden and the Garden Luncheon will be in the Meadow Garden.
Columbus Botanical Garden is located at 3603 Weems Road on 36 acres of green space in north Columbus.
