Save the date! Uptown’s RiverFest 2022 is set for May 13th-14th at Woodruff Park in downtown Columbus!

Before you spring into action with tons of warm-weather events and activities, add Uptown’s RiverFest 2022 to your calendar.

This free, family-friendly event hosted by Uptown Columbus kicks off the 2022 RushSouth Whitewater Park season.

There will be more than 50 vendors on-site! In addition, look forward to delicious food, specialty drinks, arts and crafts, unique gifts and so much more.

In fact, there will even be live music throughout the weekend-long event! Friday’s festivities ramp up to the sounds of D.S.O.S. Band, a.k.a. Deeper Shades of Soul, at 6 p.m. followed by Hotter Than July, Stevie Wonder Tribute Band at 8 p.m.

Saturday’s musical lineup will begin at noon, but you’ll have to stay tuned for the who. However, at 1 p.m. Relative Sound will take to the stage with Eagle Sunrise Band following at 5:30 p.m.

The finale starts at 8 p.m. as Play It Again, a Luke Bryant tribute band, will have you all dancing in the streets!

Did you know their whitewater course is the largest of its kind in the world? With dam-controlled flow, this whitewater experience is able to offer two awesome adventures!

The low-flow excursions start the day with the right amount of flow and fun for the whole family.

Then, the afternoon high-flows gets the adrenaline flowing with class III-V rapids for the more adventurous types!

There are also lots of other activities such as ziplining, aerial obstacle courses, disc golf, scenic Riverwalk trails, a lazy river experience and more. Click here for more information.

Location

Uptown’s RiverFest 2022 will be at Woodruff Park located at 1000 Bay Ave. downtown. This location allows quick access to the Splash Pad and the Blue Heron Zip Line among other fun things.

Guests can relax, socialize, shop, dine and much more Friday, May 13, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday from noon until 10 p.m. Admission is free all weekend.
